OUR LOVE TOWARDS GOD.

INTRODUCTION

God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but shall have eternal life.
When He loves us like that we should also reciprocate and when we reciprocate our journey with the Lord becomes easier.

Deuteronomy 6:5

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and with all your strength.

Mathew 22:37

Love the Lord your God with all your heart,soul and with all your strength.

Jesus spoke to the children of Israel and also to us people of the new testament on how to love God. That we should love God with all our heart,with all our soul and all our strength.

Loving Him means with all your soul starting in your mind.
Loving Him with all your strength is by serving Him.
We should be people who love God and demonstrate it.

1 corinthians 2:6-9

We should love God in such a way we can take everything to Him in prayers .
There is a type of wisdom and knowledge that has not being revealed to any other person except those who love God.
That wisdom, the eye has not seen,the ear has not heard and the mind has not thought about it what God has kept to those who love Him.

John 14:21

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.
One way to show that we love God is to obey His commands.

1 John 5:1-5

Whoever loves Jesus loves God.
This is how we know that we love the children of God: by Loving God and carrying out his commands.
His commands are not burdensome.
God’s love is demonstrated when we love our brothers and sisters.

May we love our God by doing His will and obeying His commands.
