Apostle Harry & Mama Cora Das

Founders of Christ Co-Workers Fellowship

A Man Called by God

Apostle Harry Das was a visionary servant of God whose life was dedicated to advancing the Kingdom of Jesus Christ through prayer, discipleship, and the teaching of God’s Word. Born in Guyana, South America, he responded to God’s call and eventually came to Kenya in 1977, where he received a burden for the nation and its people. He later returned in 1978 with his wife, Mama Cora Das, to establish a ministry that would impact generations

The Birth of CHRISCO

Under the leading of the Holy Spirit, Apostle Harry Das founded Christ’s Co-Workers Fellowship (CHRISCO) in 1978. What began as small prayer gatherings and lunchtime fellowships in Nairobi soon grew into a vibrant movement dedicated to spiritual maturity, biblical teaching, and intercession. The name CHRISCO reflects the vision of believers working together as co-workers with Christ in advancing His Kingdom.

A Passion for Prayer and Discipleship

Apostle Das emphasized the importance of prayer, holiness, and becoming true disciples of Jesus Christ. His ministry focused on equipping believers to grow in spiritual maturity and to live lives that reflected Christ’s character. Through his teaching, countless men and women were encouraged to pursue a deeper relationship with God and a greater commitment to serving others.

The Five-Fold Ministry Vision

One of the distinctive aspects of Apostle Das’ ministry was his commitment to the New Testament model of the Church, particularly the Five-Fold Ministry outlined in Ephesians 4:11-13. He believed that apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers were given by God to equip believers and build a mature, effective Church. This vision became a foundational pillar of CHRISCO Fellowship.

A Lasting Legacy

The impact of Apostle Harry Das continues to be felt through the many churches, leaders, and believers who have been influenced by his ministry. His unwavering commitment to God’s Word, prayer, and spiritual growth helped establish a strong foundation upon which CHRISCO continues to build today. Even after his passing in 2014, his legacy lives on through a movement dedicated to raising mature disciples, strengthening families, and transforming communities for Christ.

His Legacy Lives On

Today, CHRISCO Fellowship continues to carry forward the vision entrusted to Apostle Harry Das and Mama Cora Das—raising believers who know God intimately, walk in spiritual maturity, and faithfully serve as Christ’s co-workers in their generation. As a church family, we honor their sacrifice, celebrate their faithfulness, and remain committed to the mission they pioneered for the glory of God.
