Scripture: 2 Chronicles 6. 1
The Ark of God was now going to have a permanent dwelling among the Children of Israel.
People brought their provisions for the dedication of the Ark of the covenant.
The name of the Lord would not dwell in the temple.
When a people builds the Lord a sanctuary, part of the provisions that are given by the Lord to the people is the Name of the Lord.
The Lord transforms the lives of His people as they dedicate their provisions towards the building of His temple/ sanctuary.
In that temple, there was an alter in which it was expected that the children of Israel would bring their sacrifices and dedicate them to the Lord.
There are also benefits that came to the city of Jerusalem as a result of the temple of God being in the city.
2 Kings 4.8-17
The Shunamite woman perceived the coming of the prophet of the Lord, Elisha. Together with her husband, they accommodated the man of God at the upper room of their house.
They utilized their resources to take care of him.
Following her good did, her day of Remembrance came and the man of the Lord asked her what he might do for her?
The Shunamite woman had a good place in society.
More than an earthly king, the King of Kings is here in the sanctuary of God.
Wealth and money could not give the Shunamite woman what she really needed, a son.
The time of the Shunamite woman’s reward did come. In that place where she prepared for the man of God, she was called at the same place to receive her reward.
Nothing was made that was made without the word of God. John 1.1
A time is coming for you to stand in the door way of your blessings just like the Shunamite woman.
John 10.34-37
God’s word gives those who believe the power to do godly/ miraculous things.
Isaiah 54.2-3
