LIVING IN VICTORY IN THE LORD

Reference Scripture: Genesis 39:1-9

Introduction
This title means living in favour.
This is a story about Joseph. He was born when his parents were old. God was with him and had shown him his destiny through dreams, but God did not show him the journey to his future.
In our time God has revealed our destiny including to not fear along the way.

Ways to live in God’s favour :
Apostle Das at one time taught about the word ‘WATCH’ which stands for; Words, Actions, Thoughts, Character and Heart. When you consider your words, actions, thoughts character and heart do they please God? If they do then you are living in God’s favour.

1. Know your God
Psalms 139:7-12 God will never leave us nor forsake us. Wherever we go the spirit of God is with us.

2. Stay focused
Joseph purposed to focus on God and not to sin against Him. Our focus is on Him who called us. The devil fights our destiny so let’s be careful.

3. Serve faithfully and acceptably
God has placed authorities over us- Him being the first so let’s serve faithfully. Seek out opportunities to serve and do it faithfully. As we serve faithfully we might find our destiny connectors, just like Joseph.

4. Be patient .
God is still good even when we go into pits and even when we stray. Be patient with everyone because offenses will come. Pray for each other as brothers and sisters because we have a destiny together.

5. Know that God loves us
Our God has a destiny for us. His word is true and all He wants from us is obedience. He is with us and has a good plan for us.

Conclusion
God will never leave us because He has a wonderful plan for us. When every other thing is failing, He doesn’t forsake us and we can trust Him. He loves me and he loves you.
The troubles we go through are just trainings. You don’t have to worry and you don’t need to be afraid. Look unto God.
