Youth

The Youth Aflame has always been a key part of Chrisco Churches. The Youth Aflame operates in tandem with the overall mission and vision of the Joyful Assembly with a focus on young adults.
In early February 2020, Presbyter James G. Kiganjo called together a group of young people and
introduced the idea of organizing and revitalizing the Youth Aflame into families. In that meeting, 6 families were born.

The families consist an average of 20 young people, and are headed by two mentors. The mentors are young people who have recently transitioned into marriage and have shown a desire for serving God and working with young people. In the leadership of each family, we have a set of deputies being mentored for leadership.

The overall leadership of the Youth Aflame is steered by Samuel and Leah Kithuku, and the Elder in Charge James Kamau and his wife Purity Kamau.
