Transformation

Introduction
Transformation is a fundamental change in growth. When we receive Christ we go through a transformation.
Transformation starts in the mind. The Bible says when we come to Christ we are changed to live a life of favour and freedom

Prov 23:7: Whatever we expose ourselves to will affect us in one way or another. As Christians, we are expected to expose ourselves to God’s word in order to be shaped according to God’s will.

John 8:31 If we continue in the light of God’s word we will be able to know the truth which will set us free. It is important for youth to read God’s word.

How can we experience real-life transformation?
1 Thessalonians 5:23
As youths, we are expected to present our bodies blameless before God. This is not possible if we are not transformed by God’s word and the blood of Jesus. Our mind and body should walk together; therefore if our minds are transformed by God’s word the body will do as the mind directs.

2 Corinthians 7:1
Our old nature was changed when we received Christ. This is transformation, therefore perfection comes through living on holiness

Acts 8:1-3
Stephen preached God’s word through difficulty to the point of death. God was glorified through Stephen. The youth are urged to preach the gospel even in difficulty for God to be revealed through us.

Ephesians 4:24
When we are in Christ we are transformed to be a new man, to live a life of holiness and righteousness.

Ephesians 1:13
We have a seal of the Holy Spirit which has given us a new identity. Our transformation comes through our identity in Christ.

Romans 6:6
Since we are transformed, we are not in bondage but free to serve effectively.

Romans 12:1-2
We need to be transformed so that how we carry ourselves need to show what is true and acceptable in God

Conclusion
We are all destined for favour and greatness therefore we have to be transformed through reading God’s word. When we are in our workplace or school, we need to present ourselves right before God and also represent Christ. Therefore let us allow Christ to transform us so that we can be who Christ intended us to be.
