GOD’S ALL TIME PURPOSE FOR US

GUIDING VERSE: Isaiah 54:1-4

Introduction
The above verse is addressed to w barren woman. Barrenness is a state of lack. There are many things one can lack but it’s best to have God in our lives. We were created for one purpose and that is to be like Him

WHY DID GOD CREATE ME;
1. We were created to serve God . ROM 1:1
We were created to do the will of God. God’s servant is someone willing to that which God has called them to

2. To obey Him. Ephesians 6:1 -3
God is our father. We ought to obey Him. Parenting also includes loving and disciplining.

3. To love Him. Matt 22: 34-40
We were created for a greater purpose than just love God

4. To glorify Him.
This is the greatest reason God created us. Adam failed but God did not leave him .Adam was a reflection of God.

You glorify God by remaining connected with Him.
John 5:19 tells us that whatever Jesus did He was in touch with God .
Acts 11:26 tells us the people at Antioch saw the believers and said they were Christians because of how they acted . This is what God desires of us. That we will be seen example to others.
The one main purpose of God is to restore us and that’s the first part of the gospel. it’s to have our sins washed according to Romans 5:10.

The enemies of salvation according to Ephesians 2:1 are;
1. Self-centeredness
2. The flesh
3. The world.

Full salvation means you are saved and living a life of victory. As christians we should always rely on the Holy spirit.
In Philippians 3:5-8, Paul boasted of character and obedience to God. He thought by this he would make it. But God showed him that finding Christ is most satisfying.

Conclusion.
Nothing is more satisfying than having God. You are the salt of wherever you are. You can be the change you desire. Always remember God’s purpose for you all the time
