GOD WANTS TO HELP YOU

Reference Scriptures: Hebrews 12:1 Romans 5:17 Daniel 6:3, James 4:6, 1 Corinthians 15:58

Introduction
Isaiah 41:10 It says ‘Do not fear for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God I will strengthen you and help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’
God has given a promise in His word for everyone who trusts in Him.
God has a prophetic design for 2023 to make sure that we are walking with His help.

Ways that God is going to help you in 2023
He will help you overcome sin
– Besetting sins- these are sins that easily ensnare us. Hebrews 12:1 They entangle and trouble us persistently.
-Willful sins. Psalm 19:13
This year God will help us overcome these sins
Genesis 19:16 Take hold of God’s mercy that He will hold your hand and lead you out of every sin.
In 1 Kings we read the story of David how he has killed a lion and bear and also Goliath but he had a weakness for women (sexual purity) but by the end of his life he had overcome this sin. God will help you overcome all kinds of sins.

He will  help you live a victorious life
Victorious life refers to a life in which a person is walking in the power and glory of God.
Romans 5:17 We will reign in this life through Jesus Christ
Titus 2:12 We are to say no to the flesh by exercising self control. Subdue the flesh. To overcome the world you need courage from the LORD to be different. To day no to the devil you need to resist him even through prayer- James 4

He will help you in your professional life
God is concerned about you professional life- work. Daniel 6:3 says that Daniel had an excellent spirit. The administrators and satraps knew that this kind of wisdom is only from God.
God is able to set you apart in whichever area you are in for not everyone is called to full-time ministry.

He will help you prosper in your social life
For those in marriageable age God is able to help you settle down.
Ask God to lead you and give you clarity in this area like in Gen 24 the story of Isaac his servants gave God a test in identifying a wife for him

How to obtain this help from God
1. Walk humbly James 4:6 God gives grace to the humble. Don’t be prideful
2. Labour in the word of God so as to understand God’s promises.
3. Labour in prayer to obtain the promises of God.
4. Be abundant in the work of God 1 Corinthians 15:58 whatever area of ministry God has called you in abound in it in 2023

Conclusion
Philippians 4:19 God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus
Ephesians 3:20 ‘Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.’
2 Corinthians 9:8 ‘And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.’ God is able to make all grace abound towards you
2 Kings 13:15-19 A prophetic action from prophet Elisha; shoot many arrows, pray many prayers that you may get your breakthrough.
