God is about to reveal to you what He is about to do

Reference: Gen. 49:22; 41:25.

Introduction

The theme for Kenya Community International Church in Seattle for the year has been inspired by Genesis 49:22. The sermon is also inspired by the theme. “Joseph is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine near a spring, whose branches climb over a wall”
God is revealing what He is planning to do for your family. If God could reveal Himself to Pharaoh who was not in the plan of God, what about you who is in the plan of God? He did it for Joseph, He will do it for you.

Joseph the Dreamer

Genesis 37:5-7: There were two dreams with the same direction and this exposed Joseph to ridicule in his family. However, these dreams took Joseph to places as the Lord allowed them to come to pass. It was not easy for Joseph, and it was at such times that one would ask if God was still present in the situation. However, like Joseph came out victorious you will also emerge victorious.

God had a purpose in using Joseph

Psalms (105:17) God had sent Joseph in advance for a purpose and it came to pass during the time of famine when He came through for the family. Even for us in our suffering we shall not be overwhelmed. Even in the dungeon Joseph still had a dream. The dream drove Him to the palace.

A story is told of an old Woman who had a surprising prayer request to a pastor; that the pastor asks God to move a hill that was blocking sun from getting to her home. Pastor prayed but the hill did not move. Later, the Government decided to have a road along that route and the raw materials were to be sourced from the hill. The prayer was answered and the woman could get her sun!

Season of the Supernatural

Now the time has come. We are entering into a season of supernatural and unprecedented breakthroughs. All should have dreams and move with them.
Even if what you have been waiting for delays; it shall still come to pass. Like He moved Joseph from a dungeon to the palace, He will also lift you from the dungeon.

God is lifting us to higher levels in ministry as a church and even as individuals. Acts 1:8: We are entering through the Holy Spirit.
A time came when Pharaoh had a dream and a recommendation was made about Joseph. Just like that, Joseph was honoured to appear before the king to interpret the dream. May the Lord give us the grace to see far.

Seven is a symbol of perfection. There was to be 7 years of plenty and 7 of scanty. Joseph was put as a second in command, in a Nation where he was a prisoner. God’s plans cannot be thwarted. Joseph was unique. He had unique things; Great character and wisdom. May the father’s in the house be men of great character, full of Spirit of God, dream for their families and overcome the challenges.
May the Lord give us the grace to be dreamers and take our Nation far.
Genesis 45:6: After many days, Joseph’s family came to Joseph and he was there to preserve their lives.

Conclusion

May the Lord give us the grace that will allow us to have a generational effect. We all should have a unique quality that will change you and others, preserve the family, church and even the Nation. May God reveal what He is about to do and then move with it.
