Elder John and Lucy Irungu

Elder John Irungu Kamau is one of the Elders at the Joyful Assembly. He is in charge of the Diaspora County and Fellowship. He is also the leader of the Sunday School.

Under his leadership, the Sunday School has grown in leaps and bounds to having their own fully fledged church service that is run entirely by the children with support from the teachers.

He is known for his clear and illustrative preaching, and served God in Chrisco Kawangware before moving to Thika.

He is married to Lucy Irungu who is one of the women leaders at the Joyful Assembly. She is an intercessor and a woman of great faith.
